synopsis
A young boy wishing to follow in his father's footsteps as a bullfighter moves to Madrid to pursue his dream. When he returns to his hometown many years later as a success, he marries his sweetheart, but is tempted by a seductive socialite. Based on the 1908 novel "Sangre y arena" by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.
