This action-thriller follows Dan Lawson, a detective investigating a series of murders in Chicago. He speculates that the killings are the work of a serial killer, but then the case turns cold. Years later, he is called upon by the police in Scotland to assess a new murder case. He teams up with Scottish detective Boyd, and they speculate that the Scotland murder is indeed similar to the Chicago murders. The two differing detectives must work together to solve this mystery.
